In-Home Support
Quality In-Home ABA Therapy for Your Child's Individual Needs
Every child's journey looks different
Whether your child has been diagnosed with autism or another developmental disability, or is struggling with social skills development, Ovation is here to support your family
We use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) because it delivers real, measurable progress. ABA has the strongest research backing of any autism intervention - decades of evidence prove it works - which is why major insurers cover it for treatment.
That said, effective doesn't mean cookie-cutter. At Ovation, we design programs around who your child is - their unique interests, their strengths, and their goals. Our approach is individualized and engaging, so your child can thrive.
Navigating a new diagnosis can feel overwhelming
We’re here to simplify things for you. Services for our insured clients can be summed up in four key phases.
01
Coverage Review
We can help you confirm your in- or out-of-network coverage if your child has an autism diagnosis.
For uninsured clients or cases unrelated to autism, we offer private pay services. See below for more information. To get the process started, please complete our Intake Form.
02
Assessment
Once your insurance provider approves services, we begin with a formal skills assessment and functional behavior assessment. We’ll observe the challenging behaviors your child is exhibiting, identify the purpose, and recommend appropriate alternative behaviors.
We’ll use this assessment to develop a treatment plan and goals that aim to help your child gain independence in a natural, play-based environment.
03
Program Implementation
Once our treatment plan and goals have been approved by your insurer, we’ll pair a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with your child and commence our program.
This is the fun part! Your RBT will conduct regular sessions and your supervising BCBA will review progress weekly. The BCBA will also provide parent coaching to ensure you and any other caregivers can keep making progress after our sessions.
04
Review, Adjust, Progress
Every six months, we will conduct a new assessment and submit the results to your insurer.
We’ll help you navigate your insurer’s response and adjust our treatment plan and goals accordingly to support your child’s continued progress.
Please Note: ABA is an evidence-based intensive therapy. The weekly time commitment can vary depending on individual needs but our 1:1 sessions typically occur five days per week during one of our three session blocks: (9am-12pm, 12:30pm-3:30pm, 3:45-6:45pm). A minimum commitment of three sessions per week is required to ensure sufficient opportunities to target long and short term goals.
Looking to address challenging behaviors unrelated to autism or seeking treatment without insurance coverage?
We can help with that, too.
For our self pay clients, we leverage the same foundational approach we take to insurance-covered autism treatment to offer a suite of comprehensive services for your family.
